I've enjoyed the Ace combat series greatly over the years, and I was always sure AC6 would be a shoe in as a PS3 exclusive. Looks like its not. O how the mighty have fallen.

WTB: Co-op mode. Not buying a second Xbox just to play with friends at home. Fuck Microsoft for that lately in way too many games with online features yet no offline team play.

That being said, AC5 sucked balls. Hopefully AC6 makes up for it, though it'll be hard to ever top 4.

I haven't played 5 or Zero, sadly. However 4 was indeed a masterpiece.

The AC series has blown away every other console flight game ever made at that. I really can't fucking wait for this - I hope it has some crazy awesome live support. I've wanted the AC series to have some good online modes and now it almost certainly will.

MS is on a warpath. I remember playing it on the PS. One of my favorite PS1 titles to date. 16 man dogfights is going to be badass.

AC4 has by far and away one of the best console games released. I'd honestly rate it up there with games like FF:T and SoTN when it comes to "Games that qualify you as retarded if you never played."

AC5 is just really....I dunno, it felt flat and cheesy by comparison. You're "THE GREAT HERO OF THE AGE!!!" like 1/4th of the way into the game, you never really get to know or fear the enemy, the battles are all ridiculously easy. It's just a huge let down.

Omg mega edition with flight stick $150 Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation (X360) w/Flightstick = $150 (11/13) - NeoGAF

I bought AC4, after driving to two gamestops to find one with an actual box (non GH) only to get one with a GH dvd inside anyway, sigh. The game is pretty good, and I'm itching to get the stick for the 360 later this year.

Those screenshots look impossibly sexy. I've never really liked any sort of "flying" games but this one will deserve an extra look. My god are those city shots ingame?

One thing Ace Combat isn't is a 'sim' - it's very much an Arcade experience. It's way the fuck more fun than any retarded flight sim.
