I thought there was already a thread for the new 360 but i can't find it... so here it goes:

Here are the relevant specs:

HDMI port and an HDMI cable
120GB hard drive
$479
No HD-DVD integration
The 120GB hard drive will be available for under $200
It's coming in "late April"

Microsoft's UNBELIEVABLE accessory pricing is exactly why I don't want them to ever succeed too much in the console space. Good Christ.

I think the white box looks better. I'm kind of surprised at the No HD-DVD drive, but I can understand it.

I'm glad it'll be out before Blue Dragon releases though - I wanted to wait for this model before I picked up an X360.

And yeah, Microsoft's accessory pricing, especially their HDD pricing, is fucking absurd. I honestly do not understand how they can get away with such highway robbery.

At least you can use third-party HDDs in the PS3.

Whatever dude, Sony's Blu-ray inclusion is far less of a sin than what MS does.

100 dollars for a wifi adapter? TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS for a 120gb HDD? You can fucking pick up a 500gb HDD for that amount.

Good friend is a manager at Gamestop. He told me he had a conference call yesterday regarding emails about the new Xbox 360. They are waiting for the SKU's in their database. Definitely picking one up.

Agreed 50 for a control... 100 for wifi... To be fair it said 120 gig for UNDER 200.. So 199.99?

If you have a micro center in your area just watch for their sales, they have incredible deals on 360 accessories.

About a month back they had the wireless controllers for $20 apiece, could almost buy 3 for the normal price of 1. I know one time they had like $50 off the current hard drive, and they also had the $199 core, $299 premium (after rebate) deal too.

While I will not go out and get the black X-box... I certainly want that bigger hard drive. I am just hoping it is closer to 150 than 200... 20 gigs doesn't cut it anymore with all that is availible on X-Box Live.
