There were about 5 seconds of non-cutscene in-game footage in that video. It looked pretty cool, but its not that amazing in my opinion.

Let me know when an all-gameplay movie is released.

EGM has a bunch of screenshots of the game this month. It looks pretty awesome. If it's anything like the PS2 ones, the cut-scenes looked pretty much identical to the gameplay.

Well I watched the movie and I have to say I don't understand the doubt that it's real. It looks good but not so good that it even gives me any doubt whether it's real-time or not.

Gametrailers is such an ugly, unintuitive, unergonomic piece of shit and I don't understand why people use it. Will comment on the video once I finally manage to download it since the link in the OP is dead and the geniuses at gametrailers don't understand that showcasing HD videos in 100x100 is pointless.

Is it just me or wasn't the animation a bit choppy at times? Seemed like each time a new scene was rendered the fps dropped to sub 20 for a second or two.

The 1up show has a great preview of the game, and it looks fantastic. It's the first R&C game I've been hyped for since the debut game. And also a wrap-up discussion on GDC (LBP, Mass Effect, & PSHome). I recommend checking it out.

The first Ratchet & Clank was basicaly a masterclass in level design for the cheap price of a PS2 game. Very impressive game.

Every time I see a Ratchet and Klank game or someone mentions the game this commercial comes to mind. One of the best video game commercials ever.
