| Damn it, tons of people with modded x-boxes are already playing it and i have to wait for 23th. Street dates are stupid and so is delayed release in EU.

So far the EU release delays have been pretty short, not making it all that worthwhile. Though at least I still save some money on games, they cost $90 here. | |

| Actually i don't have x-box yet, ME was The Game for which i'm buying one soon. Plus, i don't have that many options to import box from US. As for games, in Denmark, where i currently live, there is ridiculous laws to pay 25% VAT on ANYTHING that comes from mail orders, so not much of money saving. And if i order anything to Russia, it will take at least month to get it delivered.

+54 Internets | From what I'm reading you'll be able to import your character into the sequel and what you did in this first part will carry over. I don't know what this means for strategy, I guess there's more than just a single good/bad way each. Min/Maxers, report for duty ![]() |

+17 Internets | If you read the text entry, he seems to indicate their hacking system is just pressing buttons corresponding to lights on the lock or some shit, and he references Bioshock's hacking as actually being integrated into the world where this hacking feels sort of arbitrary (and as illustrated by the comic, somewhat nonsensical) Quote:

| Yeah, along with what Murr said, I'm also going to say that omni-gel is probably the 'auto-hack' tool in M.E., like how BioShock had those autohack items. Even understanding it, it's only mildly humorous ![]() |

| Pretty much. Almost any container that is locked in the game (or computer that needs read, etc), requires either Electronics or Decryption to access, and as long as you have the skill necessary it'll do a little button pushing mini-game to open it. What's sad is it doesn't matter how difficult it's supposed to be unlocked, the minigame is 3-6 button presses. (I've had "Hard" boxes require pressing B, B, B and it opened hehe). And then, the only penalty for failure is that you'll have to spend Omni-gel to open it, which is obtained by breaking down equipment (Which you'll have a lot of crap drops to break down for the stuff. Omni-gel is also used to repair your land vehicle if it gets shot up while exploring planet surfaces.) |
