+1 Internets | Some interesting info that hit around work yesterday that I'm not sure has been mentioned in any reviews is that the single-player campaign is taking about 60 hours without doing any side-quests (not sure if doing side-quests will effectively decrease that or not given the extra leveling up and gear from doing them) and that to go from one side of the galaxy to the other is about 100 hours. Again, not sure how accurate these are (eg I believe the single-player timeframe, am having a hard time believing the galaxy travel time when comapring it to something like Elite) but I do trust the people that have mentioned them. Given that the single-player is in the realm of 60 hours though, I just can't see how valid any review of the game will be apart from a superficial level. I mean we all KNOW that the game will be worthy of high 9's just based on the level of polish seen so far and it being Bioware but I just don't see how anyone can claim to have played enough of it to really give valid reviews of things lilke longevity, replayability, the underlying mechanics etc. This christmas is looking to be so sweet for the 360 with Mass Effect, GH3, RB, CoD4 and Assassins Creed still to come that as a gamer I'm way amped...just sucks that Bio now will have very real (and likely unbeatable) competition for most of the GOTY awards :/ |

And if you're thinking just physical media, they might reuse a lot of textures and such to fit more in. | |

+5 Internets | What the fuck do you guys do with all this collectors edition bullshit? I always prefer to buy the least-packaged deal with these things because less clutter around the apartment is definitely a good thing. I can only imagine a Comic Book Guy-esque room where the shelves are lined with dusty toys and books that came in $90 collectors editions. |

| I open it and read or watch the special stuff, ect. Things are meant to be used! Example - Has an Art Book and Bonus DVD. I'd look at the art book and watch the DVD. Duh, what else do you do with it? But yeah, then I throw it on a shelf. Last edited by Sean; 10-23-2007 at 02:45 AM.. |
