+10 Internets | Sean said a few pages back you can get most tech achievements by spamming the abilities at the mako. I did that for a while and got everything except the "lift" achievement. After getting all the others I sat there for a while longer thinking that I forgot to use it a few times with no luck on the achievement. Do you have to have it at a certain level for it to effect the mako thus counting towards the 75 total needed uses? |

| Eh, I spammed both Lift and Singularity on the Mako just fine. Though I think Lift was the very last ability I maxed due to it being the last one I acquired and I'd been using other stuff as I leveled to get all the abilities. |

+10 Internets | Oddly enough singularity was the first achievement I got when making my throw away adept. The sole purpose of the character was to get the achievements so I got them at the same time by leveling shepard up and not using any points till level 10. I guess I'll just keep at it. |

+10 Internets | I always get out of the mako and kill stuff when its almost dead to get the full exp anyway. Killing a thrasher outside of the mako is probably easier then with the mako because there isn't the rare chance of it springing up right under you. |

| I think I got it before I ever left the citadel, some missing datapad you need to find. Found this here on gamespot on it. Very top: Mass Effect Game Guide - Features at GameSpot |

| It's in the Heracles cluster of the system that Feros is in. There's no specific pre-reqs for it, you just go there and get it. However, there's also a second quest on that planet involving the item you get from the Consort. Btw, I finally went and finished off getting my last three achievements last night and hit 1000/1000 yay. I ended up getting Liara's *way* sooner than everything said that you would. Pretty much everything states that you get it at 15 Mission completes and 45 Assignments complete with her in the party and that's not true. What I did was b-line it out of the Citadel as fast as possible, but I picked up the Reporter's quest to get the the item from Fist, but I didn't turn it in. I also picked up the Scan the Keepers quest but didn't scan a single keeper. Then I went out to get Liara and then went back and did all the Citadel stuff. Then I went and did Feros and Noveria and did every single side quest on them. After that I moved around every system scanning and surveying all the planets for shit to make sure that I would complete the Find Minerals/Turian Insignias/Solarian Medals/Matriarch Writings/ect all while I was on a planet with Liara in the party - this is very important. If you complete one of these while surveying stuff in your ship then it won't count and you'll have to go way further into the story to get it done. Anyways, then I went and did every single side planet mission while going back to the citadel in the middle once to hit the second step of The Fan after some time passed, and then I finished the side stuff. After every single side mission was finished I went back to turn in the last step of The Fan and got the achievement. So if you make sure to hit all the side stuff with Liara in your party and don't finish any of the collection missions while aboard your ship surveying stuff then you'll get the achievement without playing to the very end of the game or even touching Virmire. Unfortunately I had to do a 4th real playthrough due to messing up and only getting one Ally achievement on my first play through. Last edited by Sean; 01-06-2008 at 04:56 PM.. |

| Nope. I just make a note of which achievements are out of the way and require something extra and go from there. Like for Blue Dragon I just made a small list of which items/monsters were missable and made sure to get them. A full guide is really unnecessary. And Mass Effect for example all of the achievements are really obvious with the exception of the Liara one where you can get fucked over on that. And I didn't really find this out till after fully playing through it. |

+10 Internets | I've heard that its 60 missions total, main quests and assignments combined. Most people don't get it to the end because they skemp on side missions. I just finished the game myself and damn that was awesome. I was level 50 before even going to virmire. I always get out of the mako and kill stuff on foot, the mako takes like 2/3 of the exp if you kill stuff using it. |

+19 Internets | I just got the Liara achievement today... I didn't do any of the scan quests and shit, but I did pretty much everything else. I didn't get it until the very end of the game Spoiler Alert, click show to read: Going through on insane with my engineer. Doesn't look like I'll hit 60 Going to have to level up after I'm done more. Anyway, it's not nearly as hard as I thought it would be. I thought Feros would be a bitch, but found out that those special grenades will 1-shot any thorian in hits which made things much easier. AI hacking is pretty huge since otherwise, I get 1-shotted by most things in melee range (I could where those physical reduction armor enhancements, but where's the fun in that?).

| I've started an adept and am rushing to level 10 to train my skills. After this, I'll have all adept and all weapon (soldier) skills unlocked for a new playthrough. I'll then do the same (well, aside from AI Hacking and whatever else cannot be spammed on random objects) with an engineer. Then I'll start a character that I'll go through on Hardcore, Veteran, and Insanity. Which class would you recommend, and with which skills? |
