Another bump. Just came a across a 1UP video article on Mass Effect. They talk (and show) a little bit of character creation, squad AI, storyline, customization and dialogue options. Cannot fucking wait.

Official release date announced - Nov 20. They're hoping for a pre-release demo if they can finish it fast enough.

The British rating board announced the game contains "sex scenes" - including the option of a lesbian sex scene if you play a female char.

BBFC break-down of Mass Effect reveals straight, gay sex scenes

Apparently there is precedent for removing such scenes from US versions of games... probably because of an AO rating? The rating in the UK is 12+

I don't know. God of war got a pass on bewbs.

I was always amused by romancing Dawn star and Silk fox and having an implied three way in Jade empire, shitty combat system not withstanding. And then

Yea, I have so much anticipation for this game, and it looks like it'll deliver a masterful storytelling experience. The in-game cinematic scenes and the way you interact with the characters while those scenes are being played out is a huge draw for me. It makes you feel that you are participating in the story exactly as it's happening, rather than pre-rendered cut scenes which you have no control over.

Didn't Dumar say there wasn't very much innovation in games today? I think innovation these days are happening on scales like this. These types of changes to gameplay in the story telling aspect, might seem small, but can totally change the way you experience an epic rpg adventure.
