Yeah, my Xbox started freezing with Blue Dragon and RRoD'd very soon after. It's probably the system and not Mass Effect.

so this problem keeps occuring like 5 minutes after playing *any* game so far. how long did it take for your system to RRoD? I kinda don't want to give up on it so I missed around with it's position/cables and shit but meh...

Same thing happened to me bud, I never got to RROD, it frustrated me so much that I called up support and they sent me a coffin. There really isn't much you can do. I tried everything, wrapping it in a towel, buying one of those retarded cooling stations.

Best just to send it in.

Does anyone else get the feeling that space combat is going to be in the next game? They spend a lot of time talking about it. I think that would be an AWESOME addition. Some RTS Space combat against the Reapers. You have to make sure that you conquer the planets you travel to, and then use them to build units. Also, it would make there be a point to surveying and finding materials. Maybe the Battle medallions open cool unique units.

That would be pretty much be a complete game.

Anyone who has done the tech/biotic achievements have a way to get them done quickly? I used the default shepard so all the weapon achievements came naturally but now I have none of the biotic or tech use achievements.

Basically have to make a character of each and just, do it. 75 uses doesn't take that long but it'll run you a couple hours each. Biotic doesn't require a target though so it's pretty easy. I'm not sure on tech. I think it needs a target but I have no idea. It just says use vs kill enemy on the weapon ones.

Beat hardcore. Sean, what level did you end up on your first play through? With the character you pushed to 60 with? I finished hardcore last night at lvl 55. Aiming to go for 60. I didn't realize how ridiculous Immunity was. I didn't have much problems without it but I maxed it out, and went Commando on my Infiltrator so they get a bonus to immunity recharge. It made it so immunity recharged before it wore off..so if I chose, I could continously recast it. The last level I just stood in the middle of hallways, pulled out my sniper rifle, hit immunity, and just killed shit one by one, eating fire, and my health rarely moved =x

I didn't read the entire thread, sorry, but yeah I picked this up and it doesn't freeze up on me, it just gets really choppy sometimes in the cutscenes. Not sure what all that is about. I'm not very far into the game and it's fun but that makes me not want to play really, the last thing I need is my shit RRODing on me.

AFAIK, a game can't MAKE your system RROD. It would happen regardless of what game you're playing.

But yeah, guess it's time for a 360 for me :[ RIP.

Clear your cache. Do a quick google on the steps needed to do it, it's in the system panel in the xbox menu. Improves performance for a lot of people.

I was 50 on my first play through on my operative infiltrator on Veteran. 59 on my second play through on hardcore. Would have hit 60, but I killed way too much shit in the Mako and didn't get out on foot. I hit 60 just a little bit into my Insane play through.

I'm slogging through my insane play through, sadly. I'm going for the Kaidan/Tali achievements at the same time and let's just say Insane difficulty + those two party members as an operative spec'd infiltrator = not easy.
