On the construction mission where you get the grenades to blow up the union bosses, i had some troubles. when covered I had issues with hitting pipes and stuff and bouncing off to different angles. not too big of a deal though.

I used the grenades twice on that mission and never any more. It's so much easier to just lock on to guys and kill them with the submachine gun.

I used grenades with great success in the mission where you have to kill these guys for "U" at that building outside. There's lots of cars and when there's stuff that can explode grenades work really well. shooting cars until they explode doesn't really work too well anymore.

It was pretty awesome, that one guy got thrown into the air and dropped dead next to me a few seconds later. It made an awesome sound too

I hate how grenades cost 1k each tho.

You can use the live vision camera to create your gamer tag.. nothing stops you from using the RROD image.

I'm fairly certain the 4* achievement requires you to escape on foot, were you?

You have to be in a car and you can't use a pay'n'spray. I made the mistake of trying the pay'n'spray... it doesn't give the achievement.

Just some positive reinforcement for those that are having trouble with the bank mission.

*SPOILERS MAYBE* (I don't know how to hide text like the rest of y'all)


Make sure you get body armor before you start the mission. Make sure you take your time killing all of the cops, and remember down in the subway your going to get hit by SWAT and not regular cops. They (SWAT) come in groups of 6 from what I can tell. Once you get out of the subway and up to street level there is a car to the right. I beat it by driving around for a while until my wanted level dropped to 3 stats and then I called Kiki. For some reason the pay and spray didn't help me. Once I beat it I got access to the combat assault rifle, and its fucking worth it. Good luck guys.

The 1-star thing just annoyed me because it happens at the worst times or I get fucked by lady luck.

Like, I'm trying to buy weapons to go to the bank mission... I'm just 1 turn away from the weapon shop when a light switches to green and a police car pulls out in front of me and I nudge it. Instant 1-star, can't get into weapon shop, and now I gotta drive 2 blocks away just to lose my star.

But then a cop on foot spawns out of nowhere and I gotta move more.

Or the time I'm on the little island where the old hospital is. About to start a mission (the one where you escape on the boat IIRC) and bam, 1 star. Now I gotta leave the fucking island in order to get rid of 1-star because the circle radius is the ENTIRE island. Fuck it, I start the mission anyway (not knowing what kind of mission it is). I go around back and start clearing the badguys.... whoops, kill a cop. 3 stars... So now I got choppers, cops, and the normal badguys all over.... actually, that kind of made the mission more fun :P

Just finished the bank mission on the first try. Awesome mission for sure! The best thing to do in this game is to ALWAYS have body armor. Every time I am running low on armor I go and pick up some more, it does a huge amount of good when you're fighting the cops because they do so much less damage.

I don't even care about cops now when I start a mission, they don't go above 3 stars if you're doing a mission (unless it's mission defined). I slaughtered a whole group of irish guys in a house for the heroin addict guy meanwhile cops come mid way and I'm just slaughtering them along with the guys (easily 10 of them). Kinda made it fun, combat assault rifle is total own though.

It kinda sucks that you have to go to two different places to refill house. The weapons guy should sell med packs or something.


<3 Cabs.. but on that note they kind of cheapen the game.

Mission Ends
Take cab to cluckin' bell (fuck burger shot)
Take cab Weapons Shop
Take cab to safe house save game
Take cab to mission
Take cab to mission objective
Take cab to secondary objective
Take cab back to mission guy to return goods
Repeat

I like the instant travel but I barely spend any time in cars.

Also on the bank mission there are 2-3 health packs as your progress through the mission. One health pack is down a couple stairs in an alley where your crew hides out. Another is in the subway just before you go up to the street level. When you run up the 4 little steps from the tracks and go through the door there is a health pack right on your right.

Doesn't saving the game (via sleeping at safe house) instantly refill your health? You might be able to cut out a cab ride.

I have my game set to auto-save so I barely go to my safehouse :[

Hmm it might possibly, half the time I don't save between the missions though.

Good point, still I patiently await the total amount of money I've blown on cabs.. I think I'm at 4-5k atm.

It does but when you fail some of the harder ones over and over it sucks to have to lose a good % of your money to health care, followed by having to get armor again before you can start the mission. It's easier to restock, save and then just reload on failure then re-getting everything for the mission.

Use taxi cabs and then skip the ride with "A". I taxi all over the place, love them things.
