Every GTA game has had a couple of stations that play older music than the game itself is set in, so this doesn't really say much. I would assume he's probably not supposed to say he was offered a part on the soundtrack, either. If this is true, it may end up in the dude getting fired.

Either way, we can make an argument that the game starts no earlier than the 80s.

Whoever did SA did their homework on how Gangs work in California. I guess thats what i liked about the game. Since i am Mexican and from California.

Plus old school Cypress Hill and NWA is $$$$.
