console gaming dilemma

alright ladies, first off id just like to say lately i've had troubles sticking with an RPG.. stress and ex girlfriend issues i guess, but whatever. shits coming through now. I have a lot of games i havent finished nor started.

allow me to make a list of them

PS2:
Tales of the Abyss
Ar Tonelico
Final Fantasy 12
DragonQuest 8
Okami
Radiata Stories
Grandia 3
Shin megami Digital devil saga 1
Shin megami Digital devil saga 2
Star Ocean

Gamecube:
Baten Kaitos Origins

DS/GBA:
Final fantasy 3 (got about 90% thru and my file corrupted)
Final Fantasy 6
Riviera
Summon Night:Swordcraft Story 1
Children of Mana
Deep Labyrinth (game is so mediocre it hurts)

Thats pretty much the jist of the games i unfortunately own but well.. with the ammount of games i have that i.. havent started its pretty overwhelming and i cant really decide where to start. I was debating tales of the abyss but i 'd like to hear your input on it.

not even gonna bother mentioning my 360 games.. simply because theyre all shooters =p

If you've never played FF6, do it now. Otherwise, go for Okami, then DQ8/FFXII.

hahah, to be honest i keep fucking up the blitz intro on that mountain, fucks that easy bossfight up and i just turn it off T_T

FFXII. 100+ hours for a truley complete game.

Play Okami until the original Orochi prophecy storyline is complete. That's about 10-15 hours. It's kinda gay after that.

Go with Okami. Most undersold game of all time; it's the antithesis to E.T. for the Atari.

Okami makes me feel dizzy when I play it. FF12 is the best game on that list anyways.

To be honest, about FF12.
every time i've tried to get back into it lately. i actually manage to fall asleep while sitting there.

Only game thats ever managed to allow me to do so. I think i'll finish tales of the abyss then bust out okami though.

Agreed. The fact that I only have to move the sticks to play really removes me as a player from the game. I don't even have to move the right stick, but I do so to try to change views and keep the combat interesting. I'll probably finish the game soon myself, but the fact that I'm so detatched from the combat cripples my experience.

Yeah, I could turn gambits off, but even the fact that all your characters auto-attack detatches me from the combat.

nice to see you finally posted in here haha, Its such a slow start of a game.. and i notice theres a lot of frame latency when it comes to mid singing and just.. in battles in general.

does this game get better? i havent put much time into it, but it definitely looks like a fun as fuck game.
