Yeah played it at Gamestop yesterday. Was playing it on the demo but for some reason the game looked like pure shit. They had the demo running on a PS3 instead of a PS2. Not sure if it was the PS3 or the monitor resolution but the game looked VERY GRAINY. Other than that it played like a charm as usual and was fun as hell. This is one title I can't wait to get.

It must be one of the two, considering in the latest videos it looked awesome.

I've had it pre-ordered for a bit now.

Played the demo at work yesterday.

It's God of War 1.5, at least, with some better fighting and swinging mechanics. That said, it basically seemed to be more of the same game I knew - fortunately, that's plenty good enough for me to find it worthy of a purchase.

The camera design, sigh, remains my only real disappointment so far. I had hoped that it would be impoved for the sequel, but there are time when the characters runs away from camera, and gets in fights, when he is wee dot on the screen in the distance. That and the GoW franchise involves a lot of platfroming where the camera doesn't let you see where you're going.

I'll say more when I have full retail in a week.

I picked up Resident Evil 4 yesterday and decided to grab some component cables to run it progressive. Man, I gotta say, it looks every bit as good and better than it does on a normal non 55" HD TV. I really couldn't even play FFXII it looked so pitiful and God of War looks a load better as well.

Since I got the HD TV the component cables are the best $16 investment I've made. They were sitting next to a pair of $60 components, but *shrug*.

good luck, ive been calling place's and only one store will have it today around 6....and its only being sold if you pre-ordered it, rest of the people get it tomoro.

it pisses me off that they say release date the 13th, but in fact its only the ship date, meaning it gets in the 14th

Of course I'll be seeing 300 again tonight to gear up for God of War 2 tomorrow morning.

I try to avoid pirating games, but fuck, God_of_War_2_USA_PS2-ECHELON is too tempting to pass up. I'll still be buying the game when it comes out in the uk next month -- but, I need this now!
