+2 Internets | I don't think surprised is the correct term. I got my 360 a few months back and it was one of the best dollar for dollar investments I've made in a long time. I want a Wii too, but hot damn I can't find one still. Just picked up Crackdown and playing with my friend over Live is one awesome experience. The free Halo 3 invite isn't bad either. |

+17 Internets | The PS2's library still blows everything else away. And it still has a lot more games coming for it that I plan on buying - more than any other system for at least another year or two. |

| The only thing surprising about that list is the fact that in 35 days (5 week polling period), 430k Wiis were moved through stores yet I still haven't seen one in a store since fucking launch day. I predict 100-150k Feb sales for PS3, 225k 360, and whatever Nintendo ships for Wii (~350k). |

This chain reaction is what vaulted PS2 (and, ultimately, any market leader) above the competition. Price drops will not happen soon enough to get Sony out of trouble, there are *no* killer apps for the PS3 anywhere near us...

actual killer apps - FF13, MGS, GT5, wont be out this year in NA for sure; DMC is 50/50 "slimline" PS3's - not gonna happen this year - probably not next year either "This is waiting" ...

| I bought a Wii, first system I've owned since SNES. I'm enjoying it thoroughly and couldn't be happier. I have only seen a Wii once on a store shelf since I got mine, and it was only there for 1 minute. I got mine the second weekend they were out by just waiting outside circuit city 5 hours before they opened. People always rag on those who spend those few hours waiting, but it's far more efficient to do that once than to spend time going from store to store trying to find one during regular hours. |

| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | An industry friend of mine is saying the word of mouth about the ridiculously high PS2 sales is due to them releasing shipped numbers of "New to circulation" PS2s. Not actual sales numbers. Been asking around trying to figure out whether it's sold or shipped. |
