360 and Media Center.

Alright, figured id try you guys considering ive gotten fuck all from trying to figure this out myself and googling shit for the past 4 hours.

I just picked up a 360 last night, figured why the hell not i want a HD gaming console, without getting off course i cant seem to get the god damn media extender to detect my 360 at all, the shit is frustrating me like no other.

Anybody familiar with the setup on this and common faults with it?

EDIT: jesus christ 2 seconds after i post this, it works.

did you turn on the filesharing on the WMP 11? That was the only problem i had at first. Then i figured it out.

Kill all non-Microsoft Firewalls you have also... heck kill them all.. or configure them to allow traffic through certain ports... I just prefered to kill them :|

Yeah im pretty sure that was it. filesharing on WMP 11 and i had Fast User Switching disabled. which made everything work when i turned it on =p

Quick question. Does anyone else have a problem where if you don't mess with the Media Center for awhile while it's playing, the remote no longer will work anything?
