| No it's like $119 I think. It's the Survival Edition, not the Collector's. They are the same minus the clock and you can only get it at Amazon. I was tempted, but it would just end up being a $40 clock that sits in the closet.

| Yeah, it's 119. And like I said it is a total waste of money, but I really had to have it. I don't want to be bidding on ebay for it in six months. It might be cheaper, but meh. I just rationalize it as the same price as going to watch the Dodgers get their ass kicked by my Braves or Phillies. I know it's going to be a 3 dollar piece of plastic I'm paying an extra 50 for. But god damn it, I'm just that big of a Fallout nerd. |

+5 Internets | Ahh well, than that is fine. I never turned that on anyway. It's too silly, plus taking that perk cut you off from ones that benefited your character. Although iirc in Fallout 2 you could put that as a setting in the graphical options. |

| In Fallout 2, you could get the effect of bloody mess by unloading a big gun(Bozar, Miniguns etc) on any unarmed target and on armored targets if you landed a big crit. I'm guessing big guns will have the same effect in this game. The only thing bothering me in those videos is the fights look pretty similar to FPS - that is, we need to physically target the opponent to land a shot rather than selecting the target and letting our weapon skill land the shot. This could make some fights really hard for us non-FPS players imo. |

| Are you referring to targetted shots using VATS? It appears the regular shots have to be done on the fly. I wonder how feasible melee and unarmed combat is going to be. It was pretty hard in Fallout 2 once the opponents started wielding the more potent ranged weapons. |

There is little more fun to be had in the world than Super Sledging guard dogs and watching their bodies slide off the screen.

![]() Edit: Had to mention this - the slide effect was pleasing and made me feel like a badass but then I had to waste APs to run up to whack them some more. | |
