Infantry (SoE)

Anyone ever play this back in the 'golden era' of Twink Peaks etc? Just curious to see if anyone played it before they starting charging and if anyone is still currently playing. I'm thinking about resubscribing due to the MMOs I'm on currently are no good for me anymore.

I remember the CTF being insanely fun and addictive...I played this during/before and after my EQ days and always had a blast.

So...anyone? Any input if you're still playing and/or started playing recently?

I use to play the hell out of this when it was free.. Was an awesome game but I just can't bring myself to pay for it.. Heck if they would have just added advertisments and kept it free I would still play it but its more of a nice passtime gimmick like and fps.. not something I can pay monthly for..

Though Map sniping with one long as range 1 hit kill gun was $$$$

Or Infantry sniping with the rifle on burst shot or something I cant remeber.. like 3 hit kills from 2 screens away .. All map baby.... good times

I see now. You're one of those people that looks for reasons to be offended. It must be frustrating to go through life like that.

Man this brings back memories. Twin Peaks was the shit, all of my friends and I used to play this whenever we weren't playing EQ. What a shame they decided to charge for it...

Went and looked at the SWG and planetside pages. Trail of shattered dreams and unrealized promise.

I don't remember who owned this game before it went up on Station but I played it back then. Fun times. It was really popular at one point, hundreds of people in multiple maps. Doesn't even come close to Subspace though. (HIJACK)

I played Subspace back in the day religiously before I found EQ. It's still around, and it's free. Google 'Continuum' and you'll find it. Small client, easy way to kill some time blowing ships up.
