Now personally - I only have real interest in Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey and mild interest in Eternal Sonada, Infinite Undiscovery, and Cry On.

Yea, Blue Dragon comes on 3 DVDs and is rumored to have 45-55 hours of story game play with 10-20 more in sidequests. It seems like it'll finally be that "big" RPG that the 360 desperately needs.

There's a lot there I didn't know about, very good post.

If Bioshock lives up to half of the hype, we have game of the year next year.

Fuck Halo.

Most overrated and overhyped game to ever exist. More so than Final Fantasy 7 even.

Few of those look appealing, but a lot don't even have a screenshot up yet so I imagine PS3 will be competetive within a year of its release with their # of rpgs as well.

Blue Dragon looked so kiddy to me. Lost Odyssey looked cool, but reminded me of Drakengard.

I'd better hope so - xbox hasn't really been known for it's RPG's (which I hope changes). PS3 should have the edge over the number of RPG's just due to Japan alone.
