Supreme Commander Beta - Open

Some people do not like me posting these things but I figured i'd give some of you a head start.

The Supreme Commander Beta has now gone open, you will still need a free fileplanet registration.

These Supreme Commander keys are still pretty limited and are on a first come first served basis so if you want to play don't wait too long.

I swear i have yet to regret spending money on a premium fileplanet sub, so much good stuff + all the big game (bf2, bf2142, wow) patches at lightning speeds.

I've always felt the same about Gamespot complete, although they don't seem to get nearly the same amount of exclusives. Or maybe they do and I don't notice. I just mostly use them for demos, reviews, guides and that sort of thing.

i originally got it for the extra week of WoW open beta. I wouldn't be able to live without it now. 500kb/s of anything i need for a game is priceless.

Yeah the premium service at fileplanet has always been more then worth it to me as well. It has saved me hundreds of dollars in games that I normally would of paid for if I hadnt got to try the beta.

Drayc: I have to ask hehe. Are you in some way involved with fileplanet? I enjoy the site as much as the next guy but your posts do sometimes sound like a sales pitch. I dont really care either way im just curious.

I am, yes. But I have been a FoH Community member for a long time. So one day I figured I would give people here a heads up when things are released. If it seems like a sales pitch im sorry, i'm just trying to give people here a jump before keys run out on certain betas. Or when something really cool is released. A lot of the things we get are exclusives to us and may require a subscription.

Doesnt bother me man. I dont always remember to check fileplanet daily so 'heads up' are always welcome.

Not one of the internet tough guys around here that recently learned the word 'shill' either and likes to toss it around every chance I get so I can fit in. This is a game board so any game related information/links you want to post seem to be in the right place imo. Was just asking for pure curiosity sake.

It's not free. It's 40 bucks a year minimum, but well worth it.

I, for one, appreciated the post Drayc.

I had the pirated earlier version of the beta, but since I subscribe to Fileplanet, I figured I might as well get a legit version and see what changes have been made after more than a few patches. It's easier than having to get/wait for a crack every single time the game updates.

And as long as Fileplanet keeps getting "exclusive" access to games, and I can max out my connection on your servers, then I'll keep subscribing.

Now, if you started making new threads where all you were doing is posting screenshots of the beta... then I might call you a shill.
