| OOO I think i just had a dumbass moment... I used my wiimote to turn the Wii into standby mode and now 10 minutes later the blue light on the front is going apeshit nuts like its updating like crazy.. I bet this is all those Mii's for my mii parade I have been trying to get finally coming in.. It seems like if your like me and just never turn your Wii off or into standby mode then it won't do the offline updating thing I'm guessing... Anyway its been updating for almost 20 minutes now so I will let it go and see whats new when i turn it back on... WOOOT... I think I read some where that the Wii doesn't work with the DS usb adapter but don't quote me on it. The day i bought my Wii at mijers I went ahead and picked up a wireless router called Buffalo wireless g airstation or something like that for 59.99 Which I think is this one here. Buffalo Technology - Products this thing quite literally worked like a charm. I ungplugged the outging ethernet from my dsl box and plugged it into the wan port on the router. Turned on the router. plugged in the ethernet cable into my main box. Put the Software CD into my main box and hit NEXT like 5 times until I saw "Do you want to enter a Wireless SID name" I said yes and then I unchecked the broadcast wifi box and used no encryption.. (they have to know its there to use it!) and that was it.. went to my wii put in the sid name and bam it worked... I have had 0 problems since.. not a one..

+7 Internets | Not sure if this is common knowledge at this point but... Miis get put into the Parade automatically if someone is in your address book, has Travel on, and sets the Mingle option on. This is nice so that you don't have to manually send your Mii's. Also, if I understand correctly, it makes it possible for your Miis to travel further. Say I've got Sharmai in my address book, but she has Mr. X, who isn't in my book. She could get a Mii from him, which would, in turn, travel to my Mii. The blue light lights up whenever it is sending/recieving online data or if you have unread messages. |

+17 Internets | Man, I now have 42 Mii's - and I only created my Sean Mii on this machine. The other 41 were sent or from the parade (picked up 5 out of the parade just now). Mii Statistics: 31 Males 11 Females |
