FF3 DS

My /played is around 48 hours. Lvl 77 chars or so, got pretty bored, and since I just got my DS there were a ton of other games to buy and play through that were more important then 1 optional boss. Though I'm feeling a bit more interested in going back and doing it after this post.

And yeah I tried killing dragons around 55 but it was just so inefficient, never bothered going back at higher levels since I don't want to grind any characters as a non-black belt. What's the point of lvl 99 without 9999 hp afterall. Although it's probably possible to win against them now with 4 black belts(hp is around 6600 I think, so should be able to brute force it before anyone died) Would just need to use the elixirs they drop to heal up after fights.

Weird I got the invincible almost immediatly after. I did some underwater dungeon, woke up the lady then had the invincible.

I thought I was done with the game because my strategy guide stopped at the gold mansion heh then realized I had a lot more. I have the invincible and was basically just told to go north next to get one last piece of something so I could pass by the stone guardians. Will have to look up wtf to do, I hate senseless wandering which is basically what I did the next hour afterwards.

Going to look for behomeths lair or whatever, see how badly I get owned. I'm only like level 30 and my highest job level is a 47 thief.

edit: nevermind about being near the ship, I forgot about the dude with the moogle fetish's house and whatnot.

DS died on me as i was just saving outside of the crystal tower.

guess who has a corrupt saved file? im not restarting this shit. what a waste of 25 hours =p

Is this game portable friendly? Would I be satisfied playing this in 15 minute bursts during, say, the course of a bustling semester?

Just as satisfied as you would have been playing any other FF, I guess. 15 minutes is pretty much only good for some quick level/jlevel grinding, or item duping.

Just beat it and I have to say it's an ok game, I'd rather have it 2d than the gimpy 3d the DS can pump out. I do like the run the gauntlet style of this game for the dungeons. They did keep the dungeons to a decent size(well, except to get to the last boss) so you don't lose a major amount of time if you die to the boss. The mini-marathon to get to the last boss is insane.

I've always loved the job system in the FF games when they put it in there. I just wish there a better variety of loot to go around for all the jobs.
