I am starting a petition to get our favorite Hedgehog Sonic a spot on the new Smash Bros Brawl game. If you want to see our chili dog loving speed Hero, then join this group and sign it! Lets push to get Sonic on Smash Bros Brawl!

Knuckles would make a way better fighting character IMO.

I have to agree that Sonic would be an excellent addition, especially with the addition of Solid Snake as a third-party character. Nintendo and Sega have joined forces recently and it seems very logical for Sonic to appear as another 3rd party character in Smash. Sakurai has stated that he wants three 3rd party characters in the game, so I imagine the final spot will be reserved for MegaMan.

Knuckles won't get in the game before Sonic, btw, even if he is technically better built for fighting.

how is solid snake a third party character?

Konami, who makes the Metal Gear series which stars Solid Snake, is not tied to Nintendo.
