You're right they're fundamentally changing the class because they rock. Totally balanced and they're going to screw it up.

That particular server has fast Cloak, and also your movement increases while cloaked. It's difficult to play spy since the low health and everything critting makes getting hit by anything really bad news. If you can manage that though , you'll find getting around on a regular server a breeze. Spies that come there that are good absolutely dominate it's fucking scary because they'll just appear 15 feet in front of you and bam revolver to the face dead. You can't just hang out by a pyro and hope they'll protect you when the Spy doesn't need to be in melee range to be useful.

And yeah Bristle any CQB map Soldiers are pretty damn good, but on the big maps they fall to the back of the buss pretty quickly, since it's to easy to track the rockets and simply avoid them.

See if you actually read what was going on you would understand I am talking about the server that is 100% crit and like also mentioned increased speed while cloaked.

It was, I don't fail, context = win and don't use only 10 responses or whatever per page.

Anyway I'm looking forward to the pyro update because they can be seriously gimp. Meet the sniper has been the one I'm looking forward to the most so that is gonna be nice too...they said they're "almost done" or "nearly done" with the update, so in 3 or so months it'll be out.

Yes, because that's what I said.

Anyway, looking forward to Meet the Sniper... but more to the actual Sniper Achievements. Unfortunately, I have a bad feeling that Sniper is going to be last. Realistically, Spy really should be next and could use some reworking in general. Seeing Heavy done after that wouldn't be bad as, IMO, they are boring to play most of the time.

Try playing ambush boxer heavy on dustbowl then. punching a sniper to death is one of the most satisfying experiences I have while playing tf2.

Also anyone have a no-crit server that they play on? Was trying the all crit server and 8 soldiers and 3 demos on one team sucked the fun right out of it for me.

I see well my bad, I was the one out of context then. I found myself playing this game more and more again. Still in smaller doses but the new maps add to the addiction. I miss Sniper being able to push people good or bad however.

Have they actually stated a timeline for getting all the achievements in, like all within the next 6 months, year, what?

Its valve any date they put out is irrelevant.

Haha, my friend and I were doing the uber-heavy-punch thing to get the achievement for my medic. Hands down, one of the funniest things I've ever seen in TF2. We killed like 3 people during the uber and then an additional 4-5 people after that. It was like it was something so unheard of that the other players didn't know how to react and stop us. And the whole time I was in hysterics over the ridiculousness of it.

As a soldier I like to pop snipers up into the air and then shovel them on their way down

Never underestimate the power of a Melee weapon on a person in an FPS. People DO NOT like being killed by a Melee weapon. It's embarrassing. It means you didn't have the calm to simply aim and shoot them or you weren't paying attention to your surroundings. Most people see a guy running at them with a knife or something and go full blown panic mode, where as if it was a gun they would typically remain fairly calm.

If I get into stalemate situations regarding a corridor or a corner where we are just trading fire, nothing mixes people up and scatters them like just running toward them with your melee out. 9 times out of 10 someone will pop you,but it'll get them off their asses and moving cause no one wants to be the guy that got caught and died to a fucking knife when he's got a bazooka.

This one game, my team was so bad and we had no medic so I decided to play medic. They were capping in dustbowl and I used my Syringe gun + saw to kill like 3-4 guys while my team was jerking off somewhere. In the same game, I walked in, killed a soldier (or heavy I can't remember) and 2 medics and a sniper with my saw. It was good times.
