The other hero I've been in love with lately is Visage. With his recent changes, you can surprise the SHIT out of people with bonus damage in the early game. And with the new cloak, a heart or two is fucking gg. Play tank and all the dispersed healing beats out damn near any other healer.
I can definitely second this, but I do it a little differently, start out with a 2 hp/s ring and two branches (Prep for mekansm), then farm my little ass off with soul assumption. Usually can go fast sacred relic by about 18 minutes and finish off the radiance not long after that, by this point people realize how stacked you are and start ganging up on you and feeding you kills. If I don't go the radiance route I usually go treads + mek then make a skadi for my tanking.

So what ever happened to the IRC channel and the channel on BNet? I'd really like to get a bigger friend base for inhouses and/or decent people to pubstomp with.

Darph/Superstar Guild(WOW) Crew still play often on Azeroth.

Look us up in channel Clan MS2S, usually after 5pm EST.

I switch my name around when I get bored. I'm currently WeelDoItLIVE, but as that's becoming passe-er and passe-er by the day, I might have to switch it up.

Myself and 5-6 other dudes would love to get some in house dota games going. If you guys all decide on a channel for irc or b-net, let me know~

I'm either tkon, or n3rdwitht00ls.

Has anyone found the Broodmother (spider) to be incredibly powerful since the hero's ultimate upgraded? Random PUB nubs usually get atleast 8-10 kills with her, and when ever I get the chance to play with her, I usually end up around 15-2 with an early finish. The hero seems really dominant to me. She can solo easily with webs, push with spiderlings, will kill any other hero 1v1 gauranteed, and even farms quite well. The only thing she is really vulernable to is mass disables, but what hero isn't?

The other hero I absoluted loathed at first, now love, is the Pit Lord. I use to find it extremely hard to get any kills with him but now I realize that you have to evolve with him as the game progresses. In the beginning you have to play him like a caster and then later take the role of the melee bruiser. He is a great farmer. I get a bottle to start and then at level 3 start spamming Rain of Fire. Always cast it at the beginning of a creep wave and try to get an enemy hero underneath it. After 3 or so rains, their heros will either have to go heal, or you can setup a gank. Follow that up with a void stone --> Bfury, treads, and finally S&Y. He is extremely disruptive and a great teammate hero.

That is the same for quite a few str heroes tbh. ES/Tiny/Mag come to mind.

ES/Tiny take way more skill than Brood/Mag though. But yeah they are heroes that a noob with some basic game concepts can do well with.

You know what I like about DotA? I was just in a game where we had a leaver right at the start so it was 4v5 for like 30 minutes until their Huskar left. Shortly after that we had another leaver (the host, he was a bitch) so it was 3v4. The game went on for a while and it was actually pretty close. They were able to push enough to take a rax here and there though, so we were pretty much screwed (end game Roof and Luna don't fuck around). We lost mid entirely, and they even went straight for the towers at tree and got them both dead before we could kill them. Bot and top were both still standing, but then Luna decides to backdoor bottom when the creeps are just short of the corner to turn towards Sentinel. This gave me all sorts of ammo to talk all sorts of shit before F10 EQQing. Good times.

I support backdooring. I do it as soon as I can. Makes the games cut throat and much more intense. The worst is when one team can obviously win and they go off to farm more. Fuck that shit

Last I checked according to CAL you're allowed to backdoor in the way that most people like to think of backdooring as. What you can't do is sneaky stupid shit like teleporting as furion behind trees to intercept creep waves that can't attack him back (though they fixed that). I fully support backdooring in the typical sense though.

If you want a good time take a buddy and play a blinking hero and tiny and have said blinking hero blink into the part of the river on top or bot that you cant walk to and have tiny toss enemy heroes onto the blink hero.

gg run-on sentences onoes!
