After having played a few games now it seems most are pretty good, but with a couple people not... and dragging down whatever team they are on.

We need to find a dedicated host who doesn't lag like a motherfuck. I'll work on getting listchecker running on East, not sure how bad the lag will be for you Easters, but it should be significantly reduced despite the distance.

Looking to play some games here, I''ve been playing dota for a bit now, I'm getting fed up with public games where someone messes it all up. However, Im entirely unfimillar with mIRC. Ive downloaded it, and thats about all the farther I figured out on using it. And trying to connect, any help?

Thori, just refer to the last few pages. Nobody really gets on IRC for Dota anymore. I checked.

There are some west players, but we usually gather in East in channel Waggles.

So how long does it take to get good? I've been playing for about 2 months now and I still suck. Maybe it's the ADD I guess. When I get into big fights I have a hard time seeing what the hell is going on and I usually end up being the first victim in addition to not being able to use my abilities.

I've been playing since beta lol, can't give you an accurate timeframe. All I can suggest is be observant and ask questions. Key to victory is knowing your hotkeys, having a general understanding of your enemies abilities, the mini-map and the ALT key.

What heroes have you been playing?

Also I finally randomed Avernus the other day and I fucking destroyed. Early/Mid-Game I was on such a roll, shield and death coil is insane combo, you can do like 600 damage instantly. Late game however I was shitty, not sure what items to get for him, I went with MKB but maybe a Manta would be better?
