What the fuck... no widescreen resolutions?

This one time, please tell me I'm doing it wrong...

Is there some type of a player made patch/hack for this?

I would guess no on the widescreen support. I don't think 08 had it either and you'll probably have to wait for the hacked fix to be released. Even then it's only OK.

Is this years version still a PS2 port?
