| Registered User | While I liked the darker grays of the the stonework, and no bright blue light coming from the chasm, the grainy effect and lack of independent light sources was obnoxious. Adding grit and grime to the world is one thing; artificially making it darker and harder to see is stupid. |

| Diablo 3 will become one of the most heavily modded games in human history when it comes out. Given all the hype around graphical ability/looks I'd willing to be theres going to be quite a few graphical tweak mod's out 3>months after release.

| I don't think art lead = applying a few filters in aftereffects. Besides, I think the game will have gamma/brightness/contrast sliders and you can just turn it all the way down, paint your face like the crow and play by candlelight. Zzz. |

| Is the blocky WoW-like architecture really necessary ? If it is so great for performance, how can they add all the physics ? While it wont be that obvious when zoomed out, I dislike it just as much as the colors. I guess they want that it runs on iphone gen3 etc. |

+3 Internets | That video was way too dark and greyscale, but i also think that in the dungeon at least, there's too much blue/green saturation on all the stone work etc... Maybe just tone that down a smidge and make it a more natural colour.

| I want it to be dark and have blood everywhere like in the first one. I must say I don't like all the WoW type coloring but I'll buy and play it nonstop anyways.

| So the consensus is too much brown? Or is it now too much grey?

+14 Internets | I still don't get the bitching. The first game was DARK it still had a very high contrast and a shitload of color. Things that were colorful were not brown and grey, they had actual fucking color. The difference was that you just saw blackness past like 2 inches from your character. |
