general dota and CAL DOTA questions

Requeim and others who play DOTA and CAL DOTA league I have a few questions

1) what is the program that people use to make you drop from games? me and my friend were dropped from a game 3v5 when my friend (two times by the way) attacked a tower with creeps about 10 cm and they called backdooring on us
2) is backdooring allowed in a cal game? (not teleportation backdoor) they said that "their league" doesn't allow it (they were total shit players)
3) does banlist track IP address or account name? i was threatened by a host that i will get banned from all games and they will track my IP address or some shit
4) ???????????
5) bnet is a cesspool of fucking elitist retards...im goan block your IP so you cannot join other games... ok ill just ask for a new IP... are you a retard? do you plan to move? ... nope ... you are dumb xxx majors in this btw... ok just that i've gotten a fucking new because my isp was being gay

2. Pretty sure the way it works is you HAVE to go back to where the creeps are and push them back. If you leave creeps behind you while you attack a tower you could be forced to forfeit the game.

I believe in leagure rules backdooring in not allowed, but banlists are usually retarded so dont worry about it. Create a new account name and you're fine.

If the banlist is from banlist.nl you could have saved the replay and appealed the ban at the forums, proving the host is an idiot. That happens a lot, that host is an idiot. I've seen hosts just banning people for unfortunate and unintentional disconnects and so on. I've seen them banning teamies for not doing exactly what they think they should and plainly just lying about them in the bans at the list.

But no, it doesn't IP register you. So you can make a new account anyway.

1) There is a hack that basically disconnects you by basically spamming your connection. I'm not %100 sure how to counter it, however. It IS a hack, though, and technically an account banable offense (read: Their CD key is disabled).

2) Backdooring is basically when you attack a tower and/or buildings without creep support. There is a grey area, however, if you are chasing/fighting an enemy hero and he dies next to a wounded tower or whatnot.

3) Pretty sure it's user name based.

4) Don't worry about public banlists. Half the time I swear the fucking host leaves before anyone else. Obviously they arent gonna ban themselves.

Look your usernames up on the pubby banlists sometimes :/ You'll be on there for the dumbest reasons. Shit like, "dONT TELL ME HOW TO PLAY dROW K?" or similar shit.

I was just playing a pub against a clan. They got lich, cm, tree, leshrac, and furion on a random...so pretty much their entire team has AE ults and disables. We had earthshaker, skeleking, tiny, phantom lancer, and davion (me). My team had some strong end-game heroes, but they were hurting us pretty hard early game saying stuff like "OWN U FUCKING NOOBS" "U FUKING SUCK FAGZ". Earth leaves, claiming we were all too noob (he was in the clan). So its 4v5. Every push they would all AE at the sametime after treant rooted, so it was hurting us pretty bad. Skeleking was a noob, Tiny was ok, and phantom and me were pretty much the backbone of the team. Once me and lancer started to actually get good items, we started to own them pretty bad. Then of course the shit talker is like "dur u suck we have int heroes! i will 1v1 u noob". So I trash talk back. 3 of their team all tries to gang me, while at the sametime my teammates push bot and top and kill their rax, while basically sealed their fate. Treant tries to backdoor but gets trapped by the creeps/us and dies. Just as we kill their rax, the shit talker goes "BANNED!".

Pub banlists mean shit, anytime some cocksmoker cant take his own medicine they will flaunt the list.

I see it abused more then it being used for "good" purposes. That shit needs to be disabled pronto.

I can't count how many times I would be raping the other team, only to suddenly get a "You have been disconnected!".

My answers relate to CAL and TDA games.

1) Its called a Drop Hack. The hosting player actually has all other players connect to him. He can see their IP addresses and has the ability to prevent those ip addresses from exchanging data with him, hence a drop hack is performed. There is a program that displays all players in the game, their ip addr, and allows for you to drop them from the game. In the newest version you can setup neutral hosting/observers.

2) Backdooring is LEGAL in CAL/TDA matches. What is illegal is teleporting into an enemy base without the presence of your creep. However, you can run up into the base without your creep being there.

3) There are banlist programs that can track ip and name.

4) i don't know what this means.

5) if you are playing PUBLIC games, it doesn't really matter. I've left plenty of public games and have never run into a banlist identification.

With the newest version, Furion and Keeper's light balls can't tp into an enemy base unless there are friendly creeps there.
