[DS]Will Wright: Ace Attorney

Just wanted to say that the latest of the very popular attorney adventure games made by Capcom can be switched to be entirely in english with a japanese cartridge. The GBA episodes never left Japan but this DS one is suposed to. But if you don't want to wait for the US/EU release, don't be scared to buy an import version.

The game mechanics and the scenario of the trials are pretty neat, simple stories end up always waaay more complicated than expected and there is a good dose of humor. There are two little problems though: as expected it's very hard to make a deduction game be synchronized with the deductions of the players, so sometimes there are obvious issues with a testimony or an evidence, but the way the scenario is built does not allow to point at it immediatly, this can be a little frustrating. A little more embarassing is when there are such issues and they simply never get adressed....

But all in all, the experience is very enjoyable and seem damn long.

Japanese title: Gyakuten Saiban: Yomigaeru Gyakuten litteraly something like "Turn-around Trials: Resurected Turn-arounds" the episode focusing on the begining of the career of the main character.

EDIT: Errrrrrrrrrrrrr the english title is Phoenix Wright, not Will Wright.....

On Nintendo DS (aka DS) a game got released and it is good.

The game is called Gyakuten Saiban: Yomigaeru Gyakuten in Japan and will be called Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney in the US (where it will be released on the 15th of October).

The trick is that there is a full english translation built-in with the japanese version of the game, so you do not have to wait until the 15th.

If it's still unclear then I don't know what to say.
