+61 Internets | The key to building up characters in FFT was to find a map with a level down square and just boost up everybodies speed so you get like 50 turns for every one creature turn. Then you just build up stupid amounts of JP, then level everybody back down to normal levels. |

| i must mention a lesser known snes action rpg... terranigma graphics on par with chrono trigger? check fairly non-cliche (but still a variant of save the world)? check excellent music? check fun game play? yep, that too |

+2 Internets | Tales of Phantasia. Don't think it ever made US release for SNES, but you can get it in rom form. Good god is it sweet, the combat system is still better than 90% of RPGs to date. Side scrolling with party AI? fapfapfap |
