I know someone posted something about this game earlier, but the search is fucking up for me and I'm too lazy to go search for it.

Anywho, it's out now on thepiratebay. I can't wait.

I posted it and yes it fucking owns but playing with keyboard and mouse later in game is next to impossible gamepad highly recommended.

Edit. Found out they didn't just change the name it is also been edited and censored for US release...how exactly I am not sure.

Fahrenheit is the unedited version. Indigo is edited, though I don't know why either. About the gamepad, it had better work with my Logitech one. The demo kept bugging when I used the pad.

The piratebay one is a fake. The iso is the wrong size, and he says the game is unprotected (bullshit, it uses Tages). The game is out though, but only for about 12 hours, and nothing propagates down to torrent-tards that fast.

Differences between Fahrenheit and Indigo Prophecy are: full nudity in some scenes and an 'interactive' sex scene which Atari was afraid would get the uptight puritans in the US going just like Hot Coffee did. I really don't care what they removed though, it's the principle of the thing. Jack Thompson and my local stupid bitch Senator need to just fuck off, as does Atari for bowing down to them. If I like the game enough to buy it, I'll import the UK version for about $55, though I think that's a ridiculous amount of money for a game that is only 6 hours long no matter how good it is.

Pretty sure it wouldn't work because of the different television formats, but I could be wrong. I think they're all fucked up in Europe with 50hz and different resolutions (NTSC = North American, PAL = Most of Europe I think).

What he's saying is that your TV couldn't handle the PAL output from the UK version of the xbox game (for the same reason that you can't watch PAL DVDs on NTSC TVs). I'm not sure about the xbox specifically, but with older consoles the only way around it was to use a VGA adapter and connect to a monitor.

And yes, xbox games are region coded so you'd need a modchip to play the Euro version on a NA xbox.

EDIT: I'm not certain, but after reading a bit about xbox chips, it sounds like they can do PAL/NTSC conversion as well, so your TV wouldn't be an issue after all.

To crack this game is a bitch (as Vorph said because of the Tages). The only way around it so far is some bootleg ass mod. Buy the game if you want to play!

TetrisEmu works perfectly for beating Tages.

It's definitely worth buying though, and easily the best adventure game I've played since The Longest Journey. Probably a little better than TLJ actually, too bad the sequel to that got delayed until next year... it would've been nice to compare the two games in the same month.

Incidentally, Gogamer.com has the UK version for sale, for those who want to buy it but don't want to support censorship.

Okay, this game is amazing. The story itself is incredible.
Some of the gameplay could be better, but I really like the way they made the conversation/interrogation scenes.
