| Gameboy Mini I got to play with one of these on Friday and I must say they're pretty neat. It's a bit small for me, but all the little Japanese kids that were also testing it out showed that for kids, the smaller screen and buttons aren't a drawback. What I would have really liked is if they had put a flash drive in it with preloaded roms or the ability to download and transfer roms and store them on the game itself (even if it cost ~5 bucks per old NES game). The thing is meant for playing old NES games anyway, why not liscense them for download and play on their handhelds. They are planning for it on the revolution.

| I can dance if I want to | I like the GBM, sure, its an indulgence far as portables go, but I really like its ultraportability. Sometimes depending on your clothing pocketspace can be a premium, SP and DS are already small but can be very bulky in limited clothing real estate, but GBM can go on your keychain. Course I liked the Shuffle/Nano too, So I guess I'm the target demographic for these things. |
