Just wanted to announce that CAL now has a division for DotA. We will try and be ready by the next season of CAL (5-7 weeks).

So form your teams and shit, its time to play for a reason.

CAL DOTA? heh nice.

Although everyone pro will pick all the badass STR heroes which rape late game. An enemy has picked Rogue Knight. An enemy has picked Skeleton King. An enemy has picked Treant Protector. An enemy has picked Omniknight. An enemy has picked Slitheran Guard.

GG heh.

Games will be straight pick. Sent V Scourge. You'll play one game on each side.

We will probably do score like world cup soccer. Win both games = 3pts, 1 game = 1pt, 0 games = 0pts.

Haha you cannot be serious ... straight pick . Haha sorry that made me laugh. Lets see enigma is sentinel , Crystal maiden is sentinel , Treeman is sentinel , Shadow shaman is sentinel , haha .. poor scourge.

Scourge has alot of overpowered heroes too. Rogueknight, SK, Naix (if you get him levels, he is a fucking beast).

The fact still remains that scourge has nothing that compareres to a Rhasta, CM , Treenan , Enigma combo. Sure they have strong heroes but not heroes that have a big teamplay value.I am suprised with the "pick" rule thats all.
It should have been All Pick , taking turns what player picks first , then next pick is from the other team , etc. More balanced that way and also allows for some on the spot strategical decisions.

About Chaos Knight , yes he is soo good we are actually considering changing out 4 disablers 1 tank config for 3 disablers 1 tank and Chaos Knight. Blink + Stun is an amazing thing . especially with the new linken item.

I really hope they will post some replays of serious league games on that site.

Well for scourge you can do

Lion (for hex/stun), Rogueknight, Skeleton King, Tormented Spirit (her ult + stun + aura make for a great team player), and pugna (banish for extra damage + his ward of ownage)/the necro dude (the one with the AE lifetap thing).

ok wow, first off Rogueknight is Sent.

For scourge I would imagine seeing seeing, Lich, Death Prophet, SK, Necrolyte, and Lion.

Lets not forget, you play both sides, so if you are up against your dream team on sent, you get the chance to implement that same team when it comes your turn.

a naix can rip apart cm and enigma for sure...and has a lot of potential for killing rhasta
i would also prefer tidehunter over treant protector anytime
and you forgot phantom assassin...her 4x crit is deadly late game
naix, magnataur, necrolyte, lion can be just as deadly against that group

Magnataur is big win sauce in a team game, he can fuck up sent's gay AE disable team in a big hurry.

I'm curious how often KOTL will get played in CAL. And yes, Magna is the win.

It really depends on what the Pooling rules will be. That is still being decided.
