Soul Calibur 2 on the PS2 destroyed the use of my thumb like no other game has ever done. What was the bitch with the whip-chain thing, Ivy? All the combos I used on her involved a thumb slide on the D-pad going top->left/right->down and that shit just burns the flesh off your fingers. That's what I get for sucking too badly to use the joysticks, I suppose.

What pisses me off is that it's strictly a PS2 only, not all three systems like it was the last time. It's the reason why I bought it for GC only (because we all know Link owns like a cheap little bitch).

Otherwise, the game looks lovely.

They said that for a lot of other games too, and later you see them adapted on other systems, so who knows...

Yeah usually an exclusive release simply means it's exclusive for about 3 to 6 months until it comes out on the other systems, so that the exclusive system makes more money since more impatient people buy it when it's released.

i loved playing soulblade and soul calibur ..i still don't understand why Tekken got more attention and is considered a better game then soul calibur.

Probably because Tekken was there a few years before Soulblade..

I only played Tekken 2, and while it was good, it did almost nothing to me compared to Soulblade or Soul Calibur 2.

Who else has watched the intro cinematics every single time they turned on the console because the video and music were so amazing?

By the way, I didn't see Nightmare / Siegfried at all in the screenshots and trailer, yet he appears shadowed behind the "Soul Calibur III" title, so it's safe to assume Nightmare has replaced Inferno as the villain of the series.
