 | FPS problem- kinda tech So like, I have a Radeon 9800 XT. All the updated drivers. When I play games like Doom 3, Half Life 2, or the Fear demo, I get snow on the screen, especially with intense lighting areas. I can't use my flashlight in doom :/ In fear, it happens when I use bullet time. I haven't been able to find a fix for it anywhere. Anyone know what might be causing it? |

| Snow is a pretty vague description. Can you take a screenshot of Doom 3 with the flashlight on, or whatever game the problem is worst in? It sounds like you're getting artifacts, which normally come from overclocking and overheating. First thing to check is to make sure the fan on your XT is actually spinning.
