PSP Games: your picks

Since the PSP will be finally released in Europe on the 1st of September and that the launch catalogue will be stupidly big, I thought it would be cool for the people that allready have one to give some buying advices to those that do not yet. What are the games to pick? What are the games to avoid?

For now I only have one advice to give: don't buy Smart Bomb!

Lumines is pretty good if you like puzzle games. Unfortunately, that's all I have for you.

ridge racer for psp is the worst racing game ever.

darkstalkers chronicles was a pretty decent fighting game. but not nearly as good as the marvel vs capcom games.

wipeout is pretty much the same as the ps1/2 versions.

Lumines is the only thing my PSP is used for.

Untold Legends is uber gay and Dynasty Warrior sucks even worse than it's X-Box/PS2 versions.

Untold Legends is pretty cool imo.

I really liked Champions of Norrath... if you played that, or liked Diablo, you'll probably enjoy UL. Low intelligence hack and slash fun with up to 4 people =p

Lumines is the only PSP game I have. I saw that X-Men Legends is coming out on PSP, might be good.

Hot Shots Golf. Only game I really wanted for it before I sold my PSP back after realizing it was kind of a frivilous impulse buy for me.

I was in the shop and was going to buy one after I saw a friend leeching WIFI from a neighbor, but the games out for it are hella weak. I would have bought it if I could find just one game that I wanted

Capcom really pisses me off that they chose Darkstalkers as the first title. I'm a huge capcom fan and that game is one of thier worst IMO.

Off topic but anyone have a good site for import (Japanese) games? The ones out now just plain suck.

Wipeout was pretty fun. Glad I traded mine in a week later though. It's a damn fine machine, but the game selection is total shit for the time being.
