Hmm, it always seemed like the G-Man was really more of a hired guy for greater powers... who goes around putting people in places and making certain events "happen" to further the agenda of the greater powers =P

Personnally, I think G-Man is an ambassador from yet another alien species that has assumed a human form.

My belief is there is a massive war going on in our galaxy between the Combine and that unknown alien species G-Man belongs to.

The Combine control and take over more and more planets, and G-Man is sent to hire "mercenaries" among particularly skilled species and sends them against Combine targets.

But that's just my theory!

My theory is that DOG is actually a decendent of Optimus Prime and secretly fights against Unicron who uses the Combine as one its' mere pawns. Gordan is a misnomer with no real effect on the outcome of this space drama, but gets to breed Alyx Vance - so it doesn't bother him much that his actions were in vein.

Well, Dog sure is a badass. When you watch him owning these Combine so easily, you have to wonder why they even sent you when they could have simply sent Dog to raze the Citadel.

My favorite parts are when Dog throws the tank at the Combine soldiers then proceeds to jump on the Reinforcement Shuttle and bang it with his fists..

And when Barney and Gordon are standing in front of the Citadel's moving walls and wondering how to get inside, and Dog just comes up and lifts the moving wall up like it's nothing and they can't believe he did that.

Ya Dog kicked total ass. HL2 was such an awesome game. I love that one part where you think a strider is coming, but it's just Dog owning ;p

Any expansion with more Dog = I'm gonna buy it ;p

Considering it takes them 6 months to release a single fucking demo level (Lost Coast), I'm not exactly holding my breath for when they release this...

When the hell is that even supposed to be released? Theyve had it under coming soon for the past 4 months.

Sometime in the next month it now seems from their latest news. But that could mean tomorrow too I guess. The news thing before that said in the next few weeks... going backwards.

Except that it took 5 minutes longer with all that registration crap and that I have to "Update my online ticket" every time I switch servers Steam worked fine for me, but others had serious trouble.

and even with mine working "Perfectly", Doom3 didn't force us to put up with this kind of bullshit.
