LAN Games, suggestions?

Alright I have 3 roommates all of whom enjoy lan gaming yet we're finding a complete lack of anything to play.

What old yet fun LAN games can y'all reccomend, and what new shit can you reccomend?

Amusingly, Doom 95 is entertaining to co-op through. For a little while.

Older games... Starcraft for sure, as mentioned.

Quake 3 is fun too, if your friends will tolerate a deathmatch. My friends are bitches, and won't play anything less "intelligent" than CS. What a load of shit =P

Also a REQUEST here myself, since I don't want to start another thread...

Anyone know of a good link to a good download of Q2? I never played it, and I'm a bit interested after seeing the Q4 video... and I haven't had any luck finding any torrents =(

Just played some SC:BW with my roommates over our LAN. Age of Empires is a good one as well.

Here we go...This could be a "fun games to play on lan", thread.

Giants:citizen kabuto. This game came out hmm 2000? But the system requirements were outrageous for the time, but now, it's all good. Whatever you have will blow em away.

I dunno if you've heard of it or not but basically, these british guys crashed on an alien planet and there are 2 races on it. The kabuto, a giant monster, and the Reapers, sort of like nymph/mermaid things. Meccaryns, the british guys, are sort of our run of the mill soldier/mecc guys. Basically, if you were to play on a lan, one guy could be kabuto and the 3 others could be meccs/reapers and try to stop him, or 1 kabuto 2 meccs 1 reaper etc etc...
Meccs have powerful guns, bombs, technology etc..Reapers have spells, bows, swords etc...Kabuto is just a big huge monster that crushes anything..

Giants: Citizen Kabuto was fucking *awesome*. One of the best games I've ever played, though the multiplayer was a bit lacking.

Starcraft is pretty great when you go and download retarded mods for it off bnet. Oh, the countless lan hours spent playing Break the Condom.

Actually, ridiculously stupid mods for any game are usually pretty fun. Rollin' Big Trucks CS and Rogue spear co-op with weapon pack downloads is another great.

Play Warcraft 3 and play one of those levels where you get 1 peon and you only build towers to stop the waves of mobs.
