Pre-orders are sold out actually. under 6 hours and basically under 2 hours. Most stores got 8, the most any store got was like, 15.

I was going to skip class to pick up a few preorders but decided that a small town like mine wouldn't sell out within an hour, especially since all the stores were only accepting trade-ins for the $100 bill. I showed up 30 minutes after the mall opened and the two electronics stores were sold out as well as every other retail outlet that was reserving systems in the next three towns.

Well fuck dude, not hard to sell out when most stores are gone in 8 people and some DIDNT EVEN GET A SINGLE FUCKING SYSTEM. Mine got 14, so I'm expecting them to get the maximum of 36 Wii systems. Good times indeed.

I think alot of store employee's are taking the pre-orders now that they know how much they can make on ebay. Went to the local eb thats never sold out of any pre-order that I've seen and they told me not to even bother with the Wii either. Yeah for ebay and dumb rich fucks.

K lots of things wrong here.

1) EB/GS mandated that all stores only allow 2 systems to go to employee preorders. Some probably didn't follow it, but most did.

2) Of course EB is sold out of PS3 preorders, because as far as I know, it's the first time they've CAPPED preorders. Sigh.

3) You're an idiot for taking anything an EB employee says seriously. I don't mean to be so harsh, but come on, man...
3a) Clarification: There should be a lot of Wiis this November. If you want one, you shouldn't have to jump through many hoops to find it.

I guess you're just as stupid as me. Who would have thought that people put down friends and family members on preorders(did you just mess your pants there?) to get all of them? I'm a buyer for a large specialty retailer and I see it happen all the time.

The whole deal about working retail is they get first grabs. I know the fuck I would buy out all the ps3s if I worked somewhere shitty like eb games or walmart or whatever the fuck. Then again, your average eb games employee probably cant even afford one. What do they make.. 6.50 an hour? lol, losers. I crap on retail employees every time i see them - they deserve it for working retail. Its the closest thing to pity I am capable of.

Hopefully the speed the pre-orders went will discourage a bunch of people from camping BB/Wal-Mart for those of us who don't trust GB/EB.

Or if anything it makes me more worried. I was planning on trying wal-mart anyway on release night, maybe going 3 or 4 hours early. Now I plan on going at least 12 hours in advance.
