The concept artists working on this game are the fucking bomb, let's hope the modelers, texturers and environment designers manage to do their work justice.

Gametrailers.com - Project Offset - Trailer HD

They definitely do, just hope the game comes out sometime this decade. Savage 2 is a lost cause.

IDK, Project Offset has released more than 3 grainy, stamp-sized screenshots of their game.

I've seen this; and while it's certainly very promising, there's a big step going from a video meant to sell the game to a publisher and a full game.

And yeah this is no DNF. You could at least see the engine running in real time (the big ogre-like thing and the facial tech) at E3 2006.

Why am I suddenly bitter about PO? I was seriously stoked for this game like... 15 years ago when the project came out, but now?

Was that failed promo stunt from a few months ago enough to spur my jaded self?

What are the chances VALVe picked up PO to be their publishers?

Obviously I didn't mean LITERALLY. Meant more of a game we anticipate for a long ass time, then when it comes out the buzz and excitement is gone and what was going to be impressive then is hardly as impressive now (see Daikitana!). Like I said if I can be playing it within a year I'm still somewhat excited, but it's been probably 2 years since I saw the original video, so it's fading

Yes, although who it is has yet to be announced.

It's someone that will bring controversy to the title, otherwise they wouldn't be so secretive about it. My guess, reinforced by the 360 console exclusivity, is Microsoft. The only two companies I know it isn't are Vivendi and EA, as the team dispelled those two long ago.
