As of right now it's running that on a below top-of-the-line PC. I think the biggest piece of hardware it has is a GeForce 7 3D card.

So, considering it won't be coming out for 2-3 years (at the earliest), an average PC for 2007/2008 would be more than able to run it.

On another note, a lot of the time it isn't pretty graphics that make games run slow, but poor coding in the game's engine. You could have a mediocre-looking game with horrendous FPS, simply because the programmer got lazy.

They've had a publisher (or at least was finishing up the paperwork for one) for quite some time. There was a very sudden absence of any Offset news about 5 months ago, whereas prior to that there had been a considerable amount of media and info coming from the dev team.

If that didn't tip anyone off, then this post by Travis Stringer a month ago should have made it obvious. Unfortunately, the introduction of this publisher means we won't hear fuckall about the game for at least another 6 months, more likely another 12.

Bumping this wicked old thread because someone leaked a trailer of concept art and in-game footage.

According to some this is actually footage from last year, though I'm not sure how they would know that. In any case, I guess the game isn't vaporware. Oh, and the graphics are mind-bogglingly awesome; eat your heart out, Oblivion/Dark Messiah/Assassin's Creed.

Wow looks fucking amazing.

And no way in hell was any of this footage released last year, I would have seen it - as I have scoured the internet for every bit a Project Offset goodness there was to be had.

Apparently they were going to release a different video that was much better, but since this one leaked they;re not going to. Atleast this is what the fanbois on the PO forums are saying. I guess they're 'punishing' the fans because the video was leaked. Pretty retarded.
