Im not even remotly supprised that this was another fucked up patch. Zoneing takes forever, rampant LD, to hell with it for a day or so. Halo will keep me busy.

Been seeing LDs, severe chat lag, and things like Drewon's screenshot ever since the servers came back up this afternoon. On a raid this evening, every single person who died during the raid went LD and got stuck on 1017s. They all remained in the raid for a few minutes after they died, then all at once, the server spammed us when it dropped them all at once from the groups/raid.

This may not be at all related, as it was something I noticed last week on a raid, but I was getting some weird stuff when checking my /disc timer. It looked like it was only reporting the timer every 18 seconds.

A short string from a recent log file:

[Fri Dec 12 00:40:45 2003] You can use a new discipline in 0 minutes 36 seconds.
[Fri Dec 12 00:40:56 2003] You can use a new discipline in 0 minutes 36 seconds.
[Fri Dec 12 00:41:01 2003] You can use a new discipline in 0 minutes 36 seconds.
[Fri Dec 12 00:41:04 2003] You can use a new discipline in 0 minutes 18 seconds.
[Fri Dec 12 00:41:15 2003] You can use a new discipline in 0 minutes 18 seconds.
[Fri Dec 12 00:41:20 2003] You can use a new discipline in 0 minutes 18 seconds.
[Fri Dec 12 00:41:23 2003] You are ready to use a new discipline now.

Maybe this has been happening all along and is completely unrelated to recent server issues and I just never noticed it.

Disc timers have always* gone down in 18sec chunks

Any other servers having the horrid lag problems? 2 to 3 minute zone times ( if you don't just crash ), click yes for a rez and stand there for 1 minute before you start zoning, tells lagged, /who all lagged.

Definately a win patch, hopefully they'll fix whatever they did during Friday's patch.

The super long zone times allready happened before the patch. And the fubared reuse timers happened several time to me on test but I never was able to nail what was the chain of event that lead to it.

It was never in such dramatic proportion though.

Believe it or not, the disc timer bug you're having seems to be something related to your system Drewon. Someone in my guild was having the same problem on Test, and worked with the Devs/QA all week trying to help them fix it. All his discs had 13 hours refresh time, but it was only on his system. If someone else logged in his character the disc timers worked fine.

Out of curiousity, are you using an AMD processor? Everyone I know of with this problem on Test was using AMD, not sure about their other hardware specs though. PM me your full hardware specs if you'd like, I'd be more then happy to forward it to the people working on this bug in the hopes they fix it soon.

Fennin Ro went down like a bitch at about 9:30 PM EST, but not until half our raid was LD and stuck in 1017s. A buddy of mine got the fucked up Trueshot reuse timer thing too, but mine worked ok. I have an AMD processor too heh.

I used my Defensive disc just fine for AM, then when switching to offensive when it wore off (just to test it) it went thru fine.

Well 2 hours later, my discs had not refreshed. The reuse time on i think it was the Rage Disc is 30 min. I was getting 8756 Hours 46 min 45 secs, and it was actually counting down from there.

So then i died 1017. Hopefully this emergency patch will let my discs refresh as normal.

I still don't have a god damn target ring.

And yes the files are copied / ring turned on. Won't work for any chars or default ui. Works fine on 2nd pc.

Using a Radeon 9800 pro.
