LD -> Char p00f bug widespread?

We have now had 8 guildies that have lost their char from the char select screen within the last 10 days.

What happens is they go LD while zoning(using Magus, or zoning into an adventure), and get kicked. When they then reconnect their char is gone from charselect screen and they have to have a GM restore them.

Most of them have gotten restored the same day, but we have 2 for whom it have taken 5 days or so(sucks when your char poof during the weekend). As we speak the latest 2 victims are awaiting GM help..

This was on AB server btw.

Just wondering if this is happening on other servers as well?

It's happened on RZ a few times to guildmates, thankfully not to me yet. Last time this problem occurred a few months back it was said to be more frequent on servers with higher populations.

Anyways, on a related note, I'm getting really pissed off at the LD-hotkey-loss bug.

Thankfully on the hotkey bug you can just camp and come right back instead of having to redo them all

Happened 3 times in one day to me.

Char poof bug has happened on the Tribunal a few times.

the only bug hitting my guildies is the LD come back to no hot keys.. >< annoying as fuck

Ahh, hotkeys gone? You can fix that by hitting alt-w and toggling one of the windows manually. Go click your inventory on and off for example.

i lost my character to this bug. petitioned in game and sent an email to my server gm. got my char back 11 hours later. minus my guildtag *hugs theo*
