Who didn't buy LDoN? Kinda curious. I remember seeing a lot of threads on people not wanting to buy LDoN and sticking to their guns. Well who stuck to their guns, who didn't, and who went from wanting to buy it to not doing so? I stuck to my guns of not buying it, but to be honest I have almost finished my decontamination/withdrawl from EverQuest as of late PoP (After LoY came out and bored me to tears with more 1/2 assed content). So I probably would have been a weaker person, caved and bought LDoN myself, if I hadn't been phasing myself outta EQ altogether. So let's hear it.. who caved? Who stuck to their guns!!!

Why buy it if you're 65 and in time gear? -honest question I went to pickup a music CD last night, walked by the computer software saw 8 billion copies of LDoN and thought to myself: "Where were all the PoP copies last expansion?" So either they overproduced this time, or not a whole lot has bought it yet.

Like 95% of the people I know pre-ordered it as download only from the internet and didn't buy it in shop. That might explain why more boxes are there. They are mostly for publicity at this point anyway and to periodically put something "new" on the shelves. Thorbadin Triton

I wasn't going to buy it, but after i heard that it was open beta and people who were in beta in my guild talked a little bit about it, i started to change my mind. After i heard more about it is figured, fuck it, what do i have to lose? I bought LoY so i can live with anything. So the day it was released i logged on and purchased the expansion. Man, i did 6 adventures the first night and had a blast! I also tried my first hard adventure with 2 clerics, 2 warriors, a shaman and mage. Our cleric pulled and it was getting down to the wire but we won! I can't help but like this expansion so far. Granted the loot hasn't been great other than my new toy that summons arrows (being a warrior that rules) from mistmoore, but i could give a shit about loot, the adventures and fun i've been having with guildies has been something that i needed from EQ in a long time. I'm sure the newness will wear off, but right now i'm having a blast, and so is everyone in my guild. I'm in an elemental guild and i've really been enjoying the expansion.

Heh ![]() I actually like the idea of instanced zones. It's just too little (or maybe too much) far, far too late. I can remember as far back as posts on Flameplay suggesting that Verant do instanced zones to help alleviate the probs in preKunark with overpopulation and VoX/Naggy being insta downed on server ups and Lguk and SolB being overly crowded all the time. Only took, what?, 4 years to decide it was a good idea and then give the person that thought up the idea absolutely no credit. (I aint gonna give him credit either, I can't even remember who it was hehe ) And what is worse is they play it off like it is some big new revolutionary idea.
