| Obviously, your computer has become the lair of a powerful entity. One that can only be appeased by the ritual sacrifice of your favorite pet(s) and/or family member(s). To dissatisfy this ancient force is to invite chaos! |

| .... What he meant to say was check in your BIOS for a "wake on LAN" feature that might be causing it, even if your not even using the NIC. Some modern BIOS's have a feature that you can set it to turn your computer on automatically at a certain time. What i'm saying is, reset your BIOS defaults and change only what you have to after that. If it doesn't fix it, call an exorcist.

| Weird... I had a problem like that with my old VCR. It would just randomly turn on and start playing the movie. Scared the fuck out of me. I ended up just getting rid of the damn thing. But yea, reset the bios. If that doesn't work, i'd just flip the surge protector off (if you have one) or unplug/hit the PS switch after you shut down.

| Its a new Trojan. SoE recently found out after 5 years that people are starting to actually *turn off* EQ. So if your box boots up and loads EQ, you're in trouble. Seriously. Checking your BIOS should fix it, sounds exactly like what is wrong. Optionally make sure you're not simply entering "Sleep" mode when you turn off your box, otherwise mouse movement could trigger it to come awake. GL |
