Autofire possible with a keyboard / mouse? Been playing a ranger a fair bit lately as my roomie is out for a couple weeks. Primal bow, baton of flame and primal 1hs are the only attack options I have to use, and frankly the bow makes the melee look like shit. I don't have a gamepad thing but do have a 4button mouse, is it possible to get a program to make the mouse extra button or a keyboard key work as autofire instead of having to hit 777777777 all playtime in xp groups to bow?

Macro Express is probably the best macro program out. Grab yourself a copy and just make a macro to do it ingame with a delay pretty simple stuff. Only problem is then your playing with a 3rd party program, macroing is also a nono... so....

+2 Internets | Wow. Thanks for the Macro Express, guys! Works like a charm. Should have all of my alts spell skills maxed by tommorrow morning. Click Here for the Macro Express Homepage. Click Here if you're a nasty icky thief who would dare to hack a product instead of paying for it like a good citizen.

Theres also Macroquest, at http://macroquest.sourceforge.net however im 100% positive that this program is illegal and will get you banned eventually since it attaches itself to the client's memory directly and injects modified commands etc. Another EQ macro program is Xylobot at www.xylobot.com. It doesnt attach to EQ's memory like Macroquest does, but instead reads the log file and allows for some impressive stuff by doing so. Its far harder to detect for SoE than Macroquest is. (read: impossible unless you do some very stupid shit)

Searyx, you fucktard, have you even tried a macro involving the mouse yet? Due to the way EQ locks the mouse, the macros don't work with it (the mouse moves fine outside of EQ, but once you lock it in EQ, it doesn't). Point out where the instructions have a "if you're using MacroExpress with EverQuest..." section and I'll eat my words.
