Class only PoP loot Remember the VT item that everyone could use with the exception of erudites? KKK...k? Now this is a similar thing. Everyone gets a new toy except BST, MNK and NEC! If you see the Staff of Transcendence as MNK/BST "only" loot then just NECs get left out. To a certain extend I think class only stuff stinks because it will rott most of the time, but still why do NECs get shafted again? It is of course difficult to come up with useful NEC effects for example since DMF is already covered by the VP robe...maybe that is the reason.

http://lucy.fnord.net/item.html?id=15867 - Wand of Impenetrable Force http://lucy.fnord.net/item.html?id=20508 - Symbol of Ancient Summoning The first is the effect which was a shared effect on the original elemental robes. So technically you get 2 compared to other classes which only get 1, and yes those count as your class specific items. Items which are shared by multiple classes are better than only 1 class items, less likely to rot sooner.

Both the wand and the symbol are multi class items. Wizards and mages both get a class only items on top of it. BSTs are kinda in the twilight since they share stuff with monks it seems. Edit: This is more like a matter of principle. If 12 out of 13 classes get unique items then it has bullshit written all over it. This is so obvious that I suspect someone being extremely lazy in San Diego. They simply forgot to put the item into the database... Last edited by Neric : 08-21-2003 at 04:57 AM.

It doesn't? Enchanters have 1 class specific item, so do bards/shaman...like every class really. Mages get 2 technically, so do necros, BST get 3 with the book + shinai + bo staves. In case you didn't know the book is the best pet focus item currently in the game, so you get use of a clickable which is handy and being able to make your pets better.

Now, I'm not trying to flame you, but just here me out. There are X number of Wizards and Mages in the game. There are Y number of Necro's in the game. IF X is > than Y by oooohhhh 10,000 or greater then give X a class specific item. Y can deal with the multi class item. I used to play a troll which consisted of 3% of all the servers populace. I used to cry at the shoulders from 'the hole' being useless to me. Now I know it's not the same thing as class since I was talking about race but it's the same thing in the eye of a businessman. You'll just have to get over the fact that the necro populace isn't as big as the wizard and mage populace. SOE Isn't some mom and pop shop that cares about the little people. They care about the numbers. Later,

The Stave should be Mnk only, and the Shinai should be Bst only... Beastlord 2h blunt caps at 225 and unless I'm missing something there isn't any good piece of equipment out there with a 2h blunt skill modifier on it. Since most monks end up using 2h blunt anyways why not but just Bst on the H2H weapon since it caps at 250 for them.
