| Beating a dead horse...VT yea i know what your thinking....omg this fag wants to talk about VT. ok so i do, but my bro and i are now entrenched in the shit, and im new to the boards and i kinda wanna hear your thoughts. personally, i think VT is some of the most fuckin retarded crap. from what i can tell its a jump through hoops for loot. lore is something that interests me and well VT lore is kinda impossible to find. thus making the zone so lifeless i end up abusing autofollow becasue i fall sound asleep in my chair after seeing another goofy thing wiht 4 arms die that i cant tell if its a chick or a dude..... anyway....your insight please....i dont mean to be a pain in the ass bringing up VT, i dont even know if i am or not...so just tell me now...im new...thanks

| If you are just getting into VT then you should just skip the entire shitty zone and start working on elemental access. You will be farming elemental armor sooner or later anyways, why get VT gear which will be replaced soon anyways. You really dont need VT stuff to get into the elemental planes, every god including Rallos is a gimp pushover. Emp/Cursed/Seru loot is more then enough to get you by. In the time it would take you to outfit your guild in VT stuff if you go straight to elemental planes you can have your entire guild outfitted in elemental non-bp/legging in no time. You would hafta pay me to go back to Vex Thal, the zone was so crappy and boring the first time I went I quit the game for 3 months after the first clearing.

| well imo you CAN skip vt but vengence items, 41%haste items flowing thought focus items etc vt is more to help your casters out than your melee sure there are alot of melee items but its more for your int and wis casters and you can get ALOT of loot in a short amount of time. my guild has been in VT - we are going on our 3rd week. We have gotten 80 drops from VT.-all of them either minor or major upgrades to the people there - and we have done the route to aten once(asian guilds got her the other few times). |

Check The Safehouse for Luclin lore. Some masochists even went to the point of deciphering the Akhevian language. I think most of the lore comes out during the key quest though and there isn't much else. |

| thanks for you posts folks, just received the new target list for the month and even though VT is high up on the list, planes mobs are in their, (which i think are way more fun) ya EQ is a jump through hoops for loot but there are some fun mobs and scripts....just VT sucks balls.

| Might wanna stay in VT if you got like 6 or 7 guilds in EPs on your server, since everything will be permakilled. Plus VT isn't that bad compared to what you will be doing in the EP. EP nameds aren't push overs either, some of them are harder than tier 1 - 3 gods. |

| We are a RZ kill away from elemental planes, it will be interesting to see how that fight goes with no VT loots and minimal Ssra loots.
