| Start building a guild bomb shelter? This is probably Rickshaw worthy, or will become such (<3 some posters here), but I have to ask this question. Before I do, though, anyone who hasn't read the WoW forums on B.net (hell, any B.net forums period) had best get used to the idea of what kind of people play on them. There's a disturbing amount of ... unmatured audience there, euphemistically speaking. Think Screenshots forum on a typical day! Anyway, I have to ask: just how many kiddies are we going to see apply to FoH after WoW goes live, hoping to get super l33t lewts, while at the same time being utter dorks (I'm being kind) at the same time? More precisely, how do you guys intend to handle THAT? Same as always? Add an age/must-be-this-mature requirement? ![]() Spy on applicants through diverse and secretly sinister means? Completely change guild name and char names and just hide? Inquiring mind must know. heh

All depending on what WoW turns out to be when it is released i find it fairly realistic that the more mature and experienced guilds will do their stuff better than a bunch of "kiddies".

+1 Internets | The WoW chapter of FoH might start huge, but as the game progresses (and providing furor doesnt pull a "fuck you mythic") the slackers and fuckups will weed themselves out. Eventually there will be certain skill/level requirements to be in FoH WoW and that will filter even more. Finally when all night raids start and people die over and over and over learning a new encounter the ones who come back asking for more will be the keepers and the pussies will fall by the wayside. I could be wrong of course and this will probably end up in the rickshaw ![]() |

| The kiddies on Battle.net thrive because there are few repercussions for being a wanker. In WoW it shouldn't be worse than EQ as people tend to be a little more responsible when they have a character or account with a persistent rep to uphold. In current B.net all it takes is creating a new account ID (which is free), and voila, clean slate. Diablo 2 characters also take a lot less effort to build than would be anticipated from WoW, so starting from scratch is a lot less painful. And if they are truly anti-social dimwits that like to make others miserable, a ban on their WoW account will make their entire $50-60 game a drink coaster. You can still play offline or connect to friends all you like even if you get your key banned for other Blizzard games - not this time. It's really amazing what a lack of accountability will turn some people into, witness some of the flamefests on this board. WoW will have that accountability (at least as much as EQ), although there are some people that will act like retards regardless - I would hope Blizzard actively pursues and bans people like this.

| Future online games are probably going to be much less time intensive, and it will be easier to build characters and to be a retard. Thus, I think players should be able to see one name that is attached to an account instead of the avatar name. Sage Dirk Diggler -JohnDoe- It will reduce greifing and make people live with their reputations. |

| This is moronic. Theres immature players in Everquest. WoW isnt out yet...so your going to see every retard posting there daily for lack of something better to do. |

| Quality players with an attention span longer than 5 minutes migrate towards each other. As they say "Birds of a feather flock together". By the same token, fuckups, burnouts, and just general losers all wind up somehow to find each other in this big world and congregate (Hell look at CA). So look for quality players to find each other in WoW regardless if it's FoH or another guild or FoH under a new name. |

| How do you know they'll do any open recruiting at all? Looks like the guild is going over en masse...The few slots they may need can be filled by good non-guilded friends from EQ who make the jump. -Saleem |
