question on flowing thought

I've heard LOTS of rumors about Flowing Thought, and mostly people just seem to talk out their ass.

I'm wondering if anyone knows for sure how Flowing Thought I, II, III, etc works on items with a reccomended level. IE: A level 30 person twinks with an Earring of the Solstice, etc.

Does the flowing thought take hold?

Well dude, IIRC the FT effect on the Solstice earring doesn't take effect until level 51.

It's probably different for each item, like those CT flowing slime boots...people twink with those all of the time.

I am sure every level 1 is happy about getting those boots as twink because he CANNOT EVEN WEAR THEM..... ( hint: REQUIRED LEVEL 51 )

Added to this.... tested soliste earring with a level 12 and the effect works... Try it with a standing caster with and without and you might be surprised...

Flowing thought and Focus Effects do not kick in until the recommended level on the item is reached.

I am sure they do.. but it seems as if you didnt get it till now.... FT stuff works at lower levels having rec level or not does not matter ... been tested and i even tested it myself... but wtf am i talking to you you apparently cannot even read

I'm not sure about Focus Effects, but other (worn) effects will affect any character regardless of level. You have to equip the item first, though.

The earring has been tested to work on level one charracters. Go to The Concert Hall and do a search for Earring of Solstice or something along those lines and you'll see the thread with the raw data.

I have tested it on a level 1 mage, and its obviously working.

You can pull it out and see the difference plainly, its twice as much.

FT works as soon as you can equip the item, same with focus effects, reguardless of the recommended level.
