1st part seemed like it was gonna have some sort of "Furor" conclusion. 2nd part suddenly turned it all around and sort of eliminated the whole purpose of the 1st part. It's amazing how Sony can do betatesting of a zone so long after release, and on top of that they've been lying every time they said the zone was ready.

| What SoE needs that they don't seem have are 72 internal end game raid testers that are bound by NDAs. That would be the only way to truly test a zone like PoTime. Problem is, 72 random people wouldn't be nearly as effective as an end game guild. If you have an end game guild as internal beta testers, even bound by NDA, as soon as the zone goes live they'll rip right through it. The only real way to get end game content in the game is to do internal testing with the limited test teams they have, send the zone live marked as a beta test zone, see what the true uber guilds do with it, and balance accordingly. The only stupid thing they did here was let a volunteer guide know that the zone was being beta tested. Guides are morons. Morons let people know things they shouldn't know. |

| I will tell you what is wrong with that update. PoP has been out how many months? We pay for the game monthly......and to go to a zone, organize 60+ people to spend 6+ hours (im being very kind with these numbers too) workin on an event, only to discover the content doesnt work is unnacceptabel to the extreme. This is not a broken door scenario......where you find out something isnt workign and just wait for it to get fixed. This is a zone where you invest many hours only to discover you wasted your time and the time of your guilds. Whats so hard to understand about that... |

When you say a Furor conclusion do you mean that he was going to tell sony he would quit if he didnt like the zone design?

It is possible to go apeshit with criticism without quitting. I do some writing myself and i just found his posting to lack a clear line sort of. Not that i care anyway, but after having played EQ for 3 years before i finally quit it is still interesting to see how Sony still keeps up their "high" standards. Heck, even if you worked hard you would have a hard time trying to screw up as much as they do :P

+1 Internets | Wanna know why that update sucks? Becuase Thott and his entire guild were in PoP beta and still have access to the beta boards, Thott has not even posted his comments about this there from what i heard. That update was merely a lame attempt to show mindless eq players he doesnt slurp the Sony cone, meanwhile the rest of us werent fooled in the least. Furor wanabe Why post a retarded update like that if he was -fine- with shit being broken. godamned hypocrite. |
